Editorial Policy

1. Fact-Checking Process
Every article published on ChemData.org undergoes editorial review. Factual claims must be supported by at least one primary source (official data, direct market observation) or two independent secondary sources. Statistical claims require link to original data or methodology.
2. Sourcing Standards
- Preferred: Government agencies, regulatory bodies, industry associations, peer-reviewed research.
- Acceptable: Major news agencies (Reuters, Bloomberg), established trade publications (ICIS, IHS Markit).
- Not acceptable as sole source: Social media, anonymous blogs, unverified press releases.
3. AI-Assistance Disclosure
Transparency Notice: ChemData.org may use AI tools to assist with research aggregation, data processing, and draft preparation. All AI-assisted content is editorially reviewed and fact-checked by human analysts before publication. Articles with significant AI involvement are disclosed in the author byline or article footer.
4. Update & Revision Policy
Articles are reviewed for accuracy at least every 60 days. Material updates are noted with a visible “Last updated” timestamp. The original publication date is preserved for archival purposes.
5. Independence
Editorial content is produced independently from our funding entity. Lộc Thiên provides infrastructure support but does not influence editorial decisions, article selection, or data reporting.
